Ria's 1st sleepover!

Ria had her first sleepover withou mumma and pappa at naanu's house. Angi Mamu & Muditta Maami were there for company & care. it was a new experience for Sami and I, but it was all good. Ria enjoyed it a lot and so did everyone else. I felt like I didn't see her for ages after seeing her the next afternoon.

Ria turns Four!

Oh where the time has gone. Ria is 4 now...and she keeps on growing.

Excited, Nervous, Tired......

Ria Umbilical Cord finally fell off yesterday. That's the last physical bind she had to the womb, she is now completely detached (physically), and has a cute little belly button. Hmmm.. maybe I'll post a pic of it :-)

Ria has been a very good girl sooooooooooo far. Now she is trying to put whatever she can in her mouth. Maybe she is thinking "hummm that looks good, I shud try it" and whoooop in her mouth. OR maybe she is getting ready for teething, simple as that. I tried to put ice in a washcloth, tied it and gave it to her. As long as there is water coming out from the cloth she will keep sucking (I think she is enjoying the ice water more than the sucking) and once the ice melts, she starts to wine.....oooooooh oooooooh ooooooh :-( no offense to my little sweet baby but THAT IS ANNOYINGGGGGG !! I can only take so much of that winning (hope thats how its spells) little sound.

So, the day is finally here. Ria's little brother Ritik is finally here. She is totally in love with him, and want to do everything for him. We will have to be careful to make sure she does'nt keep feeding the baby, and throwing stuff in his crib.

But most importantly...the change is:




I love you my baby. Many many many happy returns of the day...I know one day you will look back at this...and I want you to know that you are loved and cherished always and forever.

Ria had loads of fun attending Angi Mamu's wedding.  She had even more fun taking a dip in the pool with Naanu.

Emerald Pointe

Ria had her first trip to Emerald Pointe this Sunday.  She had LOTS of fun.  She was a little scared at first, but felt right at home in the water.  She even enjoyed the wave pole....closed her eyes and hugged me tight.

Ria's Ballet Recital - Videos

So the day is finally here, and Ria had her Ballet Recital.  The evening was planned out as follows:

1. Arriving at The Little Gym, as you can see.. there was no performance anxiety on Ria's part -- Video is HERE
2. We start off with a nice little tap dancing number. Ria does great --- Video is HERE
3. Then there was the feature presentation of the Ballet, done on the tune of Six Little Ducks -- Video is HERE
4. Now it was time to shake your tail feather, and Ria does exactly just that. -- Video is HERE
5. Now it was time for some real physical work.  Ria works her way on top of the balance beam. -- Video is HERE
6. Well.. that went well.  Let's try the Bar this time.  Not quite there yet, but  a good performance. -- Video is HERE
